I am gary christopher photography

Ever since I was a child I have loved taking photos.  Being creative, capturing memories, and then admiring the finished print: it's all so much fun.

That fun has never died!

The desire to provide you with the best finished product drives me to never stop learning, never stop trying.  Every session, every wedding, every person receives an approach built around your vision and personality. We'll talk about what you want and talk about how I can best deliver it.  And if it's not a good fit, I won't hesitate to say so.  Your photos should make you happy - that's my ultimate goal.

Every client receives a curated portfolio of photos worthy of framing.

My philosophy

Grounded Elegance

I believe the best photographs don’t have to call attention to themselves. They simply feel right. Beautiful light, genuine connection, a thoughtful composition, and the small expressions that make a moment uniquely yours.

That’s what I mean by Grounded Elegance.

My approach is refined, but never overly posed or formal. I want your photographs to feel polished and intentional while still feeling like you—comfortable, natural, and real. I look for the quiet moments, natural interactions, and little details that are easy to miss but often mean the most.

Whether I’m photographing a family, a couple, a wedding, or an individual portrait, my goal is to create images that are gorgeous without being flashy, elegant without feeling pretentious, and heartfelt without being sappy.

Years from now, I hope your photographs do more than remind you what you looked like. I hope they bring you back to how it felt to be there.

And because I believe photographs are meant to be lived with, not just left on a screen, I care about creating finished artwork that has a place in your home and remains meaningful for years to come.
